Val’s career in real estate began in 1993, acting as a real estate agent before shifting her focus to real estate appraisals and gaining her Canadian Residential Appraiser (CRA) designation from The Appraisal Institute of Canada (AIC).
Since 2007 she has been incredibly active in the Manitoba real estate market, carrying out appraisal evaluations for mortgage financing, matrimonial division of assets, estate settlements, power of sale, expropriation, as well as for purchase and sale requirements.
A graduate of the University of British Columbia Sauder School of Business and member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada, Winnipeg Realtors Association and Manitoba Real Estate Association, Val continues her professional development on an ongoing basis.
Val is proud to be a mentor to Candidate Appraisers through the AIC and is the winner of the Professional Development Award from Women Business Owners of Manitoba.
